We will follow up to arrange a visit, look at your space in person, and then put together a clear written plan and estimate. There is no obligation. The goal is for you to understand your options before deciding anything.

It depends on the room, your household, and your budget. Hardwood brings lasting warmth and can be refinished; vinyl and laminate handle busy areas, kids, and pets with less worry; marble and tile suit kitchens, baths, and entries that need a hard surface. During your estimate we walk through the trade-offs for your specific rooms and recommend what genuinely fits.

If your existing hardwood has enough healthy wood left, refinishing is often the smarter, more economical path and can make floors look remarkable again. If the boards are too thin, damaged, or you want a different material entirely, replacement may serve you better. We assess your floors in person and tell you honestly which route makes sense.

We ask that rooms be cleared of furniture and fragile items before we arrive, and that we have access to power and a place to cut material. If moving heavy furniture is a concern, mention it during your estimate and we will talk through what is possible. We handle the floor-side preparation, including subfloor assessment, ourselves.

Every home is different, so we confirm a realistic timeline only after assessing your space. A single room of vinyl plank is a very different job from a full main floor of hardwood. Once we have seen the work, we give you a clear schedule and keep you updated if anything changes.

For most floors: sweep or vacuum regularly with a soft head, wipe spills promptly, use felt pads under furniture, and clean with a product suited to your floor type, never a soaking-wet mop on wood or laminate. When we finish your project, we leave you with care guidance specific to the material in your home.
